 | Video showing Stirofoam printmaking proposed by martin Another simplified technique of engraving uses styrofoam plates (styrofoam - fairly dense foam). Unfortunately (for this DIYs project), this material becomes very rare in Switzerland. Even McDonald is no longer serving burgers in this type of packaging. This is the reason why we have developed this technique with corrugated cardboard and a self-adhesive plastic sheet. The only flaw compared to the styrofoam is that the ripples of corrugated cardboard makes it difficult to draw precise lines (egg box cardboard is smoother). |
