Step 1Bend the legs of the transistor as shown on the photo.
|
Step 2
Insert the transistor into the strip of connectors as shwon on the photo.
Insert it the right way up (flat side up)
Screw the connector indicated with three dots ...
|
Step 3
Insert the 3.9 K ohms resistor as shown on the photo and screw
the connector indicated with two dots ..
|
the feet of the transistor and the wires of the resistor must not touch each other
|
|
Step 4Insert a 10K Ohm resistor as shown on the photo and screw the connector with no dots.
|
Step 5
Solder the end of the 6cm wire with the reed switch as shown on the photo.
If you don't have a soldering iron, you can twist the wire or use a connector.
|
Step 6Insert the reed switch as shown on the photo. Tighten the 2 screws involved.
|
Step 7
Drill a hole at 2cm from the top of the box lid and pass through the buzzer wires.
Glue the buzzer just below the hole.
|
Step 8
Connect the wires of the buzzer to the strip of connectors as shown on the photo.
|
Follow the colours of the wires |
|
Step 9
-Connect the two 12 cm wires to the strip of connectors : Red = Terminal 4 (: :) and black = Terminal 1 (.)
Screw the 2 corresponding connectors.
Connect the wires to the battery. This can be done either by twisting the wires, soldering, or using crocodile clip.
The buzzer should go on.
If you move the magnet close to the reed relay, the alarm stops.
|
Step 10
Insert all the elements into the box and paste the strip of connectors into position as shown on the photo.
Close the box.
