Step 1
Paste the expanded polystyrene insulation using strips (approx. 8 cm) of double sided adhesive tape (bottom, short and long sides).
|
Step 2
Stick a piece of double sided adhesive tape in the middle of the bottom of the box. Place a 50 cm long aluminium sheet strip across the box and paste it on the tape.
Stick another piece of adhesive tape on the aluminium foil exactly at the same place as the previous one.
Place second sheet of aluminium foil in the other direction and paste it on the tape.
Tighten slightly the sheets to create reflectors.
|
The brightest side of the foil must face outside. The width of aluminum foil can be adapted by folding a part underneath. |
|
Step 3
Fold inward the aluminum foil that exceeds the cardboard edg to create a 2 cm "hem" around the cardboard.
|
Step 4Wrap the top edge of the box with brown tape, making sure to cover well the aluminium foil. Press slightly to flatten the hem.
|
Step 5Stick a double sided adhesive tape the centre of the cardboard and paste on the aluminium foil container.
|
Step 6
Cut a "rectangle window" in the lid.
Paste acetate (transparent plastic A4 sheet) inside the cover using contact glue.
Decorate the lid with paint.
