    7.5 dl white glass jar with a rubber gasket and a latching lid.

    300 gr. food tin

    piece of wire mesh

    thick cardboard (approx. 1.5 mm thick).

    1 piece of 81 x 60 cm
    or 2 pieces: 81 x 31 cm and 66 x 38 cm

  • 1x
    high temperature black paint spray

  • 1x
    wallpaper glue

  • 1x
    fabric insulating tape

  • 1x
    elastic

The tin and the jar must be chosen to fit in each other. It is advisable to buy the jar first and then fin a tin which diameter fits exactly to the jar opening.

The jar used is a model ARC (France). Another model FIDO (Italy) can be used, but should push the box through the neck and it cannot be removed.

Les bocaux 'Arc' ne semble plus disponibles. Les 'Fido' étant un peu étroits, il vaut mieux acheter des 'Le Parfait'.

The tin we found at Migros fitted perfectly our jar (tin of French beans - 400 g. - origin France).

This tin bottom is narrower than the top which allows the tin to be stacked easily in the jar.
